miners show signs of life

Local media have been responsible for spreading the drafts on the survival of 33 miners trapped for 17 days
Copiapo, Chile (22/AGO/2010) .- "We are well on the refuge's 33" is shown in a paper read by Chilean President Sebastián Piñera to the media at the site San Jose, since last August 5.
This test was made official versions since the early hours of Sunday had circulated about the health of workers.

Piñera, accompanied by his ministers, said the rescue still take some days, but encouraged the work of all the rescuers who made it possible to make the first contact with the miners.

In the next few hours, will make attempts to reach a probe equipped with a television camera and audio to learn more about the health of the trapped miners.

Local media reported on Sunday that the 33 miners trapped underground in a mine in northern Chile 17 days ago are alive, although state television said authorities had not yet delivered an official version.
